From Ecommerce to Ecosystem: Opening the Right Doors for Porteraliaās Growth
Project Overview
A real-world project in collaboration with Porteralia, where I worked closely with stakeholders to improve their e-commerce platform and support their expansion into new markets.
The problem
Selling to larger businesses takes more than just having a storefront ā it takes strategy.. Porteraliaās e-commerce was built for individual installers, but adoption fell short. Now, they want to pivot, reshaping their digital presence to connect with bigger companies.
The Goal
Turn Porteraliaās platform into a business-driven hub. Less about transactions, more about connectionsāa strategic space where larger companies can collaborate and grow, with e-commerce as a supporting channel.
My Role
Product Designer ā Working closely with stakeholders to rethink Porteraliaās digital strategy. From research to high-fidelity prototyping, my focus is on reshaping the platform to align with the needs of larger businesses.
Responsibilities
Stakeholder collaboration, research, IA redesign, information architecture, wireframing, prototyping, usability testing, and business-oriented design system development
TimelineĀ
This project is evolvingādriven by continuous iterations and close collaboration with stakeholders to craft a solution. The timeline remains open-ended, adapting to business needs.
Next steps
ā ļøĀ Ā This project is evolving! The first phase of research revealed a surprising shift - Porteraliaās true priority wasnāt redesigning their e-commerce, but reaching larger businesses. With this new direction in mind, the next steps are all about refining the strategy to ensure the platform supports this goal.
1. Rethinking the Research
2. Competitive Landscape
3. Validating the Vision

Other proyects
Everyone shops. Not everyone feels in control. What if a grocery app actually supported how peopleĀ reallyĀ plan, buy, and live?
No site, no system, no map. Just a small local brand and users with ideasāhow do you guide them to take that first step?
