No more lost shoppers: reloading Carrefourâs shopping experience
Project Overview
A real-world project in collaboration with Porteralia, where I worked closely with stakeholders to improve their e-commerce platform and support their expansion into new markets.
The problem
Selling to larger businesses takes more than just a storefrontâit requires the right strategy. Porteraliaâs e-commerce was built for individual installers, but adoption fell short. Now, they want to pivot, reshaping their digital presence to connect with bigger companies.
The Goal
Turn Porteraliaâs platform into a business-driven hub. Less about transactions, more about connectionsâa strategic space where larger companies can collaborate and grow, with e-commerce as a supporting channel.
My Role
Product Designer â Working closely with stakeholders to rethink Porteraliaâs digital strategy. From research to high-fidelity prototyping, my focus is on reshaping the platform to align with the needs of larger businesses.
Responsabilities
Stakeholder collaboration, research, IA redesign, information architecture, wireframing, prototyping, usability testing, and business-oriented design system development
TimelineÂ
This project is evolvingâdriven by continuous iterations and close collaboration with stakeholders to craft a solution. The timeline remains open-ended, adapting to business needs.
đ Next steps
â ď¸Â  This project is evolving! The first phase of research revealed a surprising shiftâPorteraliaâs true priority wasnât redesigning their e-commerce, but reaching larger businesses. With this new direction in mind, the next steps are all about refining the strategy to ensure the platform supports this goal.
1. Rethinking the Research
The initial research was built around different assumptions. Now, itâs time to go back to the drawing boardâredefining personas, mapping new user needs, and aligning insights with Porteraliaâs business vision.
2. Competitive Landscape
Insert a few sentences summarizing the next steps you would take with this project and why.
3. Validating the Vision
A strong strategy is built on real insights. To ensure weâre on the right track, Iâll design and distribute targeted surveys to potential business clients, gathering the data needed to shape the next iteration of the platform.
